From Highway CA-24 West (Walnut Creek):
Head West on CA-24. Take the 27th Street Exit toward W. Grand Ave. Merge onto Northgate Ave. In about half a mile, turn left onto W. Grand Ave then take your first right onto Telegraph Ave. Lastly, turn right onto 19th St. and the monument will be on your right at 19th St. & Rashida Muhammad St. Oakland, CA 94612.

 

From CA- 880 North (Hayward):
Head North on I-880 toward Oakland. Make a slight right onto I-980 East (you will see signs for CA-24/ Walnut Creek). Take exit 1B for 17th St. toward San Pablo Ave. Continue on and merge onto Castro St. Turn right onto 20th St./Thomas L Berkley Way. Take your 3rd right onto Rashida Muhammad St. and the monument will be on your left hand side at 19th St. & Rashida Muhammad St. Oakland, CA 94612.

 

From I-80 East (San Francisco):
Head East on I-80 toward the Bay Bridge/Oakland. Once you get off the bridge, take I-580 East toward CA-24(Hayward/Stockton) and continue straight. Make a slight right onto I-580 East. In about a mile, take exit 19C toward Downtown Oakland/I-980 West. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for 27th St./W. Grand Ave and merge onto Northgate Ave. Turn left onto W. Grand Ave then make your first right onto Telegraph Ave. In .2 miles, make a right onto 19th St. and the monument will be on your right hand side at 19th St. & Rashida Muhammad St. Oakland, CA 94612.

 

From I-580 W:
Head West on I-580. Take exit 19D toward Downtown Oakland/I-980/I-880. Keep right at the fork and follow signs for 27th St./W. Grand Ave and merge onto Northgate Ave. Turn left onto W.
